The BMW Travel & Comfort Pro Tablet Mount is an accessory designed for BMW vehicles that allows you to attach a tablet to the back of the front seat headrests. Here are the steps to install and use the BMW Travel & Comfort Pro Tablet Mount:
Installation
- First, locate the Travel & Comfort Pro base holder in your BMW vehicle. It should be in the center console between the front seats.
- Remove the rubber insert from the base holder to reveal the screw thread.
- Take the tablet holder arm and insert it into the base holder. Turn it clockwise until it clicks into place.
- Next, take the tablet holder plate and insert it into the tablet holder arm. Turn it clockwise until it clicks into place.
- Adjust the angle of the tablet holder plate by pressing the button on the side and tilting the plate to the desired angle.
- Place your tablet into the holder plate and secure it with the adjustable clamp.
How-to Connect One BMW to Multiple BMW IDs
- Log in to your BMW ConnectedDrive account on the BMW website or mobile app.
- Select “Manage Access” from the menu.
- Click “Add New User” and enter the email address of the person you want to add as an authorized user.
- Choose the level of access you want to grant them.
- Click “Save” to add the user to your account.
Once the user has been added to your account, they will receive an email with instructions on how to set up their own BMW ID and access your BMW. Keep in mind that you can only add up to three authorized users to your BMW ID account at a time.
BMW Digital Key Plus is now also available for smartphones with Android operating systems. Previously compatible only with Apple devices, now customers with compatible devices from Samsung or Google can use them to unlock, lock, and start their BMWs without getting the phone out of their pockets.
Digital Key Plus can now be set up and activated on current Samsung Galaxy S23+ / Ultra and Google Pixel 7 Pro smartphones, and a number of older models with suitable hardware*. The vehicle can be programmed to lock or unlock as the customer approaches or walks away with their device just as with a conventional vehicle key with comfort access functionality. The orchestrated welcome light display and light carpet also function as with the physical key, depending on the vehicle equipment.

Another comfort-enhancing feature of the new BMW 7 Series is the optional automatic doors. To open or close the front and rear doors, passengers simply touch the handles set flush into the body or the buttons in the BMW Interaction Bar at the front of the cabin or the rear door trim. The opening and closing sequence can also be activated using the key fob.
New technology includes a helpful Safe Exit function. Utilizing the data from 12 ultrasound sensors on either side of the vehicle, occupants are warned when an approaching pedestrian, cyclist, or vehicle would be endangered if a door were opened. Visual and audible cues alert the occupants and the door will not open until the hazard has passed. An integral servo mode allows the doors to be opened and closed manually with minimal effort.

Learn in the video below how you can check the condition of your tires in the My BMW App. The My BMW App shows information about tire pressure and wear. In case of gradual inflation pressure loss due to tire damage or if tires approach the suggested wear replacement limit, you get a notification.
To check the tire condition in the My BMW App, please follow the steps below
- Open the My BMW App on your smartphone and log in to your account.
- Select the vehicle for which you want to check the tire condition.
- Tap on the “Vehicle Status” option from the main menu.
- Scroll down to the “Tire Pressure” section, which will display the current tire pressure of each tire.
- If the tire pressure is within the recommended range, the status will be shown as “OK.” If the pressure is too low or too high, the app will show a warning message.
- To check the tire tread depth, tap on the “Service” option from the main menu.
- Scroll down to the “Tire Service” section, which will display the current tire tread depth of each tire.
- If the tread depth is within the recommended range, the status will be shown as “OK.” If the tread depth is too low, the app will show a warning message.
