Screen Shot 2021-02-18 at 8.34.30 AMIn this video, BMW How-To will show you where and how to change the settings of your Head-Up Display.
Depending on model, the Head-Up Display in your BMW projects important information into the driver’s field of vision.

Depending on model, it can be found at the top of your dashboard, projecting it on the windshield.
In BMWs with Operating System 7 you can switch it on or off by going to “CAR”,  “Settings”, “Displays”, “Head-up display” and check the box “Head-up display”. The brightness automatically adapts to the ambient light, but can also be manually adjusted under “Brightness”. Press “Height” and change until the desired height is obtained. The height of the Head-Up Display will also be saved with the memory function. Press “Rotation” to rotate the Head-Up Display. This way, the Head-Up Display is visible for sunglasses with certain polarisation filters.
