In this video BMW How-To shows you that, depending on model and country, with the optional equipment ‘Automatic air conditioning’, auxiliary ventilation is included. The independent ventilation allows the temperature of the interior to be adjusted before the journey starts, using power from the vehicle’s battery. Depending on the set temperature and ambient temperature, the interior is ventilated or heated using any available residual heat from the engine. The system can be switched on and off directly or for a preselected departure time. In order to set and activate a departure time, go to “CAR”, “Settings”, “Climate comfort”, “Auxiliary ventilation”, “Departure schedule” and select the required departure time. Set the departure time and select the day of the week if necessary. After activating the required departure time, the fan and time symbol on the climate display signals that a departure time has been activated. At least 10 minutes should pass between adjusting/activating the departure time and the scheduled departure time, so the climate control has enough time to work. In the My BMW App the system can be switched on and off directly as well, by clicking on the fan symbol and pressing “Start”. The system switches off automatically after a while.

In the video below, BMW How-To will show you how to set up Amazon Alexa in your BMW with BMW Operating System 7. In your BMW, make sure you are logged in with the same BMW ID as in the My BMW app. Then go to: “CAR”, “Settings”, “General settings”, “Personal assistant”, “Voice control” and make sure that the boxes “Online speech processing” and “Third-party providers” are checked. By checking the box “Activation word”, Alexa is ready to respond to you anytime. Pair the mobile device with the vehicle via Bluetooth. In BMWs with Operating System 7 go to “COM”, “Mobile devices”, “New device” and select “Phone calls and audio”. After connecting your phone via Bluetooth, check if all three icons are active. Select the connected mobile device and make sure the box “Allow connections” under “Apps” is checked. You can use Alexa’s functions or stream your music almost like you are used to from home. When the box "Activation word" is checked, just say "Alexa" directly followed by your command. Additionally, you can activate Alexa by pressing the speech operation button on the steering wheel and then say "Alexa". Passport BMW has a complimentary shuttle service that is available and operates to take customers around the auto park or to the METRO station. For your convenience we provide BMW loaner cars, for the time necessary to service or repair your BMW, when work requires more than two hours, but not when the work is the result of an accident. The loaned vehicle is provided only to the owner/lessee (or spouse) of the serviced or repaired BMW; the owner must be at least 21 years of age (as required by our insurance carrier). more Passport BMW requires: (A) valid driver's license, (B) verification of insurance coverage1, and a major credit card2 to cover any potential incidental charges. 1 Affording Public Liability, Property Damage, Comprehensive and Collision 2 Debit card, in lieu of credit card, will require $500 hold be placed  (credits back may take 7-10 days) You are responsible for: • Any damage incurred while in your care and custody. Please remember to inspect the BMW loaner, with our representative, prior to leaving the dealership. Existing damage should be noted on the agreement.
