Learn How To Use The BMW Accessory Mobility Set
Learn in this video below how you can fix a minor tyre damage quickly, in order to continue your journey, with the BMW Mobility Set as an accessory. You can only use the mobility set effectively to temporarily fix tyre damages of up to 4 mm. Take the BMW Mobility System from the storage compartment and unpack it. Please check the operating instructions before use, and make sure to replace the sealant composite container when the stated best-before date is reached or after each use. To use the mobility set, you can put on the included protective gloves. Remove the tyre valve cap from the damaged tyre and the sticker from the AIR/REPAIR switch on the mobility set compressor. Remove the cap from the compressor hose and screw the end of the hose tightly onto the tyre valve. Plug the electric connection of the mobility set into a 12 V socket of your BMW and switch the vehicle on. Switch the compressor to REPAIR and press the button to start inflating the tyre. The gauge on the compressor shows the current tyre inflation pressure. Inflate the tyre up to a pressure of at least 2 bar and at most 2.5 bar. Stop the compressor, remove the hose from the tyre valve, put the cap back on and unplug the electric cable from the vehicle. Move the vehicle about 10 meters forwards or backwards to allow the sealant composite to spread out inside the tyre. Immediately drive for about 3 kilometres keeping to a speed over 20 km/h if possible but not exceeding 60 km/h. After the drive, check the pressure with the included nanometer to read the tyre inflation pressure off the gauge. If additional tyre pressure is needed, switch on the compressor to AIR and press the button to start inflating the tyre. If tyre pressure rises to high during inflation you can release air by pressing the release button. You should not exceed 80 km/h, put the sticker on the windscreen to inform the driver about the reduced speed limit. Please make sure to change the damaged tyre as soon as possible. With the included valve adapters you can also use the mobility set to inflate other devices like bicycle tyres or balls.

Take a look at the new 2022 BMW X3 M and X4 M
BMW is proud to announce the updated 2022 BMW X3 M and X4 M. Two years after the launch of the first BMW X3 M Sports Activity Vehicle and the X4 M Sports Activity Coupe by BMW M GmbH, both vehicles receive exterior and interior design changes as well as meaningful updates in the areas of technology, infotainment and driver assistance systems. Both the X3 M and X4 M as well as the Competition Package-equipped models also offer a notable increase in torque for 2022.
New Engine Tuning for Increased Torque
In 2019, BMW M GmbH developed the inline 6-cylinder turbocharged engine of the BMW X3 M and the BMW X4 M from scratch. The engine put out 473 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. With an output of 503 hp at 6,250 rpm, the Competition version was the most powerful production inline 6-cylinder gasoline engine built by BMW. Now, also used in other BMW M models, such as the M3 and M4, the latest version of this engine currently delivers 457 lb-ft of torque in the BMW X3 M and X4 M and 479 lb-ft of torque in Competition tune. This is an increase of 37 lb-ft of torque for the Competition package equipped models and an increase of 13 lb-ft for the 2022 BMW X3 M and BMW X4 M. The engine features characteristics typical of M, including track-proven cooling and oil supply systems, linear power delivery and a high redline of 7,200 rpm.

In the video below, BMW How-To shows you that BMW Roadside assistance is an effective way to solve your issue when you have a breakdown or technical problem with your vehicle. In case of a breakdown, you can place a Roadside Assistance call in the vehicle either from the warning message directly or via the assistance menu on the Central Information Display. Alternatively, if you are for example outside of the vehicle, you can contact roadside assistance via a phone call or using the My BMW app. In order to effectively use Roadside Assistance calls in the My BMW app, you need an active BMW ID with a connected vehicle in the app. Open the My BMW app and select “Call Roadside Assistance”. Agree with “Share Vehicle Data” to transmit your current location and your vehicle data with the call. This way BMW service can help you quicker and more efficiently. In the pop-up select “Call” to be connected with the BMW Service call centre. With the vehicle data and your description of the situation, your vehicle can be diagnosed remotely. Either the problem with your vehicle can be solved remotely or a service vehicle will be sent to your location to help you. In the My BMW App you can track the status of your Roadside Assistance Request. If a service vehicle is dispatched, its estimated time of arrival is displayed. By clicking on the map in the Request Status, you can track the service vehicle’s movement.
You can also view details about the service vehicle. When the service vehicle arrives, the breakdown or technical problem of your vehicle will be inspected by a mechanic. After the service has been carried out, you get a confirmation in the My BMW app.
