The BMW M3 CS impresses with its powerful language of forms and the consistent use throughout the car of lightweight components. This drops the vehicle weight and center of gravity, while simultaneously boosting dynamics and agility. Elementary components like the engine bonnet, front spoiler, rear spoiler and rear diffuser and even the roof are made of light and highly-robust carbon-fiber (CFRP). Weight-reducing measures were also adopted in the interior: the center console weighs about 30 percent less in comparison to the series standard component. Plus, the weight-optimized M sport seats for the driver and the passenger are not only upholstered in the exclusive BMW Individual full leather Bicolor Silverstone/Black, but also deliver excellent comfort and hold in any driving situation. The all-new BMW M3 CS inspires with numerous high-performance components that combine extremely precise driving characteristics with the greatest possible dynamics. At the center of the driver-oriented cockpit is the ergonomically shaped M leather steering wheel. It provides an unimpeded view of the round instruments in typical M styling and is also optionally available as an M Alcantara steering wheel with sporty blue and red M decorative stitching and a 12 o’clock marking to permit maximum control in all driving situations. The centre console boasts a luxurious Alcantara covering with contrast stitching in grey. This same design features on the handbrake sleeve and the interior trim of the instrument panel.
