For your convenience we provide BMW loaner cars, for the time necessary to service or repair your BMW, when work requires more than two hours, but not when the work is the result of an accident.
The loaned vehicle is provided only to the owner/lessee (or spouse) of the serviced or repaired BMW; the owner must be at least 21 years of age (as required by our insurance carrier).

BMW 530e Inductive Charging Pilot Program Named Green Car Journal’s 2020 Green Car Technology of the Year.
BMW is honored to receive the Green Car Journal’s Green Car Technology of the Year award for its Inductive Charging Pilot Program. The Pilot Program allows participating BMW customers to test and provide valuable feedback on using wireless inductive technology to charge their BMW 530e plug-in-hybrid sedans, instead of having to plug the vehicle in using a wall-mounted charging box. BMW is the first automotive manufacturer to make this technology available to customers in the marketplace.
The pilot program began in Germany in 2018, and expanded to the U.S. in mid-2019. Available in the state of California for a small group of qualifying residential home customers, the program included a 36-month lease of a specially equipped 530e sedan and home installation of the inductive charging equipment.

Fuel is supplied by means of new High Precision Injection technology which allows injection pressures up to 5,076 psi. The current version of M TwinPower Turbo technology also features VALVETRONIC fully variable valve control and Double VANOS variable camshaft control.

5G in the new BMW iNext.
The BMW Group has been breaking new ground for some time now with the implementation and integration of 5G-capable applications in its models. When the first examples of the BMW iNext make their debut in mid-2021, 5G technology will be present and correct. This will make the BMW Group the world’s first premium carmaker to offer the new mobile technology in one of its models. The introduction of 5G into other model ranges will commence soon after, although integration will vary according to the specific model and configuration. The BMW iNext’s built-in SIM card will be used to provide 5G capability, meaning customers will benefit from the new technology in their car even if they don’t have a 5G smartphone. The new generation of 5G telematics componentry is under development as part of a collaboration with HARMAN Samsung, with the BMW Group responsible for its integration into the vehicle’s new electrical system architecture.

The BMW Group is extending the reach of seamless connectivity in its vehicles with the introduction of Android Auto ™ starting in mid 2020. Android Auto, the latest digital and user centric service addition to BMW will allow customers to connect their Android smartphones wirelessly with their vehicle and, in doing so , enjoy access to useful information like suggested destinations and upcoming appointments just when it is needed.
Plug & play out, wireless in
Android Auto is a simpler, safer way to use the smartphone in BMW vehicles , making it easy to access music, media and messaging apps. The wireless connection makes the process of linking up an Android smartphone to a BMW extremely user friendly with a simplified interface Added to which, Android Auto is integrated directly into BMW’s fully digital cockpit , meaning that customers can view all important information not just on the central Control Display but also in intelligently adapted form in the instrument cluster’s Info Display as well as in the Head Up Display , where it appears directly in the driver’s driving direction.
The Google Assistant on Android Auto makes it easy to get directions, keep in touch and stay productive . Many of our customers have pointed out the
importance to them of having Android Auto inside a BMW for using a number of familiar Android smartphone features safely without being distracted from the road, in addition to BMW’s own functions and services,” says Peter Henrich, Senior Vice President Product Management BMW. “We will offer this service to our customers starting in July 2020.”
