Once you add your Digital Key Plus or have accepted a shared Digital Key Plus, your compatible iPhone or Apple Watch can unlock, lock and start your BMW – without taking it out of your bag.

For touchless openings, make sure you have Bluetooth activated on your phone. Touchless opening needs to be activated in the car. Go to “Menu,” “Doors and Windows,” and choose “Unlock when approaching.”

The first-ever all-electric BMW iX arrived on the market in the first quarter of 2022 and showcased a design unlike anything ever seen before from BMW.
