Last summer, BMW teased the world with a sneak peek of the Megacity EV designed especially for the urban driver. Expected to go on sale sometime in 2013, the imminent EV is BMW's first zero-emission all-electric regular series production vehicle.

The BMW Megacity EV will be made of a cutting-edge carbon-fiber/plastic composite material to offset the usual weight that accompanies an electric vehicle's battery pack. To ensure that every available unit of…

A Truely Exclusive New Convertible from BMW

BMW Individual range vehicles are based on the basic wisdom that genuine exclusivity is extremely rare. It offers a greater range of materials to choose from compared to other vehicles. By perfectly combining all of the details, BMW Individual range vehicles stand up to even the highest expectations of self expression. It is by far the most exclusive way to drive a BMW. And, with the new generation 6-Series, BMW will start offering its aspirational…

BMW On-Demand?

That's right. BMW is now boldly going where no luxury car brand has gone before - the car-share market. This defies the stereotype that car shares provide a strictly functional service for people with a low to moderate income level and for urban dwellers that routinely take alternative modes of transportation, or walk to work rather than drive.

For people who don't know what a car-share service is, it's essentially a model of…

"There are some truly amazing moments along the way. Like when the car is started for the first time or when it takes its first spin on the…

The BMW soft top can be lowered in 19 seconds and raised in 24 seconds at speeds up to 25 mph.

Inside, the cabin is similar to the previous 6-Series, with greater emphasis on material quality…

BMW High Persuit in the UK

Good news for BMW and British police, bad news for the tax payers, city budgets and UK speeders. BMW has announced a contract with the United Kingdom's National Policing Improvement Agency - the German auto maker will supply pursuit vehicles to all of the 52 police forces in the country.

Vehicles being supplied will include the new 5-Series (F10 530d saloon/sedan), which will be a first for many police fleets. Also coming to bat…
