BMW 1-Series Specs

BMW 6-Series Cabrio

BMW revealed the 2011 6-Series convertible (aka Cabrio) at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Drawing inspiration from the Concept 6-Series Coupe, the convertible has a long hood, forward-slanted grille, xenon headlights, distinctive LED fog lights and 18-inch alloy wheels. The BMW soft top can be lowered in 19 seconds and raised in 24 seconds at speeds up to 25 mph.

Martha Stewart Designs Her Own new BMW X3

Woodcliff Lake, NJ - December 13, 2010  Martha Stewart accepted BMW's  invitation to design her dream BMW X3 Sports Activity Vehicle using BMW's "Dream It. Build It. Drive It." program.  Martha used the "Build Your Own" online tool on bmwusa.com to customize her own BMW X3.
 
Customization is a specialty for the new BMW X3, the vehicle has more than 70 million unique configurations. Martha Stewart designed her X3xDrive35i to have a Sparkling Bronze Metallic exterior, one of three special exterior colors that are only available for BMW X3 custom orders.  Martha's BMW X3 has a Sand Beige Nevada Leather interior and Fineline Wave Wood Interior Trim.
 

Saab and BMW Join Forces

There's big news happening in the automotive industry. Today, two auto giants are joining forces. BMW & Saab. Two of the best known foreign car companies are coming together as one.

Their plan is to share research, development and production of completed engine models. This agreement to share engine technology came after some very secretive meetings, which were only broken today by The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. Leave it to two new giants to break the story behind two car legends.

BMW 1 Series Coupe

The BMW 1-Series M Coupe has been teased online for months, and was even rendered by those who can guess at what the vehicle will look like. BMW's addition to their numbered series line will mark the first addition in decades.

The car made it to the 2010 Paris Motor Show, but it didn't stick around for fans to give it their full attention.

BMW has been working on their Vision EfficientDynamics (VED for short, sounds like a new video game system) for several years. But all that planning, research and development is paying off, as the German auto maker continues to show off teases of that possibly already completed concept car.

BMW X4 and X3 Rumors

BMW Blog has not only uncovered rumors about the upcoming X4 BMW, but also the X3.

Still taken with a healthy does of skepticism, Scott26 of BMW Blog reports that BMW is considering the following models for production: X4, X3 M and an X3 35iS.

The most exciting of these is the all new X4, which would be an entirely original model. It would basically be a smaller version of the X6. Stylistically, it would resemble the X6 sport coupe/SUV design, while the car would share much of its make up of engines and technology, probably even its platform…
