BMW is working on plans to produce a small to mid-size hatchback vehicle, and will place it in between their upcoming small 1-Series cars and existing 3-Series: The 2-Series.

According to American Car and Driver, BMW is developing three new models, including a new 2-Series. These new rumored cars include a minicar based on the BMW 'Megacity' concept, a front wheel drive BMW 1-Series and a new 2-Series.
